Inemploying the tool, the screw 14 is turned until the same is. removed from the follow block 8, the screw 14 being then withdrawn from engagement with the frame 6, when said frame, togetl-ierwith the follow block is swung laterally upon its pivot. By

It is now apparent that by suitably-manipulating the mstrunient the operation of turning the nut may be readily effected.

5, it is obvious that by'suitably applyi'n a screwdriver to the bolt 28, one arm of sai frame 24 may beireadiliyk detached from the cross bar 26 when said ame may beturned upon its axis 27, permitting the ready extending of one of Its arms in a plgz ing said frame to the object to be engaged a er which it is apparent, the parts may be readily secured in initial osition and the object thus be clamped in e ective position thereby.
It will thus be seen thatI have provided "a very cheap and economical form of tool and one wherein the various forms of the wrench'may be readily applied to use.
