To all whom 'it may concern? Beit-known that L'ALBERT E. HARKER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Windsor, in the county of Mercer, State of New"Jersey, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Double Envelops; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art -to which it appertains to make and. use the same.

This invention relates to envelops ofthe class wherein two independently accessible pockets are provided, and has for its object to improve t ie construction and increase the eiliciency and utility of devices of this character.

With this and other objects in View, the linvent-ion consists 1n certain novel yfeatures sides the body being double and greater in width than the combined side ila'ps,gso that a neutral space is produced centrally of the body. The side Hap 11 is provided with a relatively Wide sealing, flap13 extending from its outer side, while the flap 12 is provided with a-relatively narrow sealing flap 14 extending from its outer side. Extending from the side tien 11, is a closure flap 1S, while a similar closure flap 16 projects from the opposite end of the side flap 12. A like closure flap 17 projects from the body site end thereof next to the end ap 11.

A The side iiapv 11 is foldable upon the adjacent portion of the body 10 along the'line 20, while the side flap 12 is also foldable upon the adjacent portion ofthe body 10 along the line 19. The relatively narrow projection 14 is provided with adhesive material indicated at 21 so that when the side flap 12 n'ith its projection 14 is folded upon the body 10, t eflap 12 Will be secured to the neutral portion ofthe body 10 by inoistening the adhesive material 21.. Then when the side flap 11 is folded upon the bodyv 10 the projection '14, which is4 also provided with adhesive-material indicated at 21, will overlap the projecting portion 14 of the side flap12, and is vsecuredthereon by moistening the adhesive material 21. The closure flaps 15 and 17 are then folded over the adjacent portions of the side tlaps 11*12 and secured thereto by moistening the adhesive material with which they are provided, as represented in Figs. 2 and 3.
