UNITED STA1ES QFFIQEB FRANK E. SEELEY, OF BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO THE PERKINS ELEC- TRIC SWITCH MANUFACTURING COMPANY, OF BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT, A COR- PORATION OF CONNECTICUT.
To (LU whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK E. SEELEY, a citizen of the. United States of America, residing in Bridgeport, in the county of Fairtield, in the State of Connecticut, have invented a eertain'new and useful improved Attacl'nnent-llug, of which the following is a specification.
The object of my invention is to provide av simple and convenient attacl'iment plug with inelosctl fuses. the construction hereinafter described.
In the accompau viug drawing Figure l is a plan view oi the body of the plug, with the cap off; Fig. 2 is a section on the line 2---2, Fig. l, the ca, being shown lifted; l ig. 3 is a section on the line 3-3, Fig. 1; Fig. l is a section on the line 4-4, Fig, 1, but with the cartridge fuses omitted.
The body of the plug is composed of two parts, an .in& lating core C carrying the usual Edison terminals I and E and acupshaped part A to receive the inclosed fuses F, F, while the removableinsulating cap B In the is of any convenient construction. present instance I have shown the cap as provided 'with a central opening 0 for the insulated wires, the
passage of the usual hared ends of which are to be connected to the plates 5, 5, carried by the cap. These,- plat'os have downwardly bent portions carrying screws 6, 6, which enter the upright slotted ends 7, cured in the cup A. two plates prO cct into the chambers G, G, respectively in the cup A, and the plates are there provided with spring clips9, 9, to re- 7, of L-shaped plates 8, se-

The opposite ends of these fuses F, F are held in clips 10, it), one of which is carried by a plate 11 and the other by a plate 12, one in one chamber G and the other in the other chamber G The plate 11 is to be'connected electrically to the screw ring terplate 12 isto be'connected to the central terminal E, as by screw rod 13. The two chambers containing the two inclosed fuses are separated from each other by an upright wall ll of insulating materia extending across the cup A, and
this wall has a projecting partition vl5 to separate the plate 12- from the adjacent plate 8.
I claim as my invention:
An attachment plug having a screw ring terminal and a central terminal with a cup shaped body separated into two chambers by a transverse insulating wall, two plates in each chamber carrying clips for an inclosed fuse, one plate in each chamber conof said terminals, a cap having plates to connect with the other said plates in the respective chambers, and the wall having a projecting partition'l5 between the plate for the said central terminal and the adjacent plate in the same chamber.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification, in the presence of
