CLEANSING COMPOUND.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMES A. LESTER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Interlaken, in the county of Seneca and State of New York, have invented new and useful cleaning compounds to be used for the removal of mud and dirt from the varnished surfaces of railway-cars, automobiles, carriages, and other vehicles without injury to the varnish.
My composition consists of the following ingredients in the proportions stated, viz:
Mineral oil one gallon \Vood alcohol, or its equivalent one qoart The oil which I use for my composition is a mineral oil lubricating distillate, such as is sold by the Standard Oil Company under the name of WVinter Black lubricating oil. I claim The herein described cleansing compound consisting of mineral oil lubricating distillate and WOOCl alcohol, mixed together in the Patented Nov. 23, 1909. Application filed August 15, 1908. Serial N0. 448,704. I
proportions of four parts of oil to one part of alcohol, substantially as described.
