IMPROVEMENT IN MUSICAL DTSTR'UMBNTS.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom. it may concern:

Be it known that I, Geonon Hnmucx, of the i'illage of Waverly, in the county of 'lioga, and State of New York, have invented a new and valuable Improvement in Musical Instruments; and I do hereby declare that the followingis a full, clear, and exact description of the construction and operation of the same, reference being bad to the annexed drawings,

making a part of this specification, and to the letters andfigures of reference marked thereon.

Figure 1 of the dmwings is a longitudinal vertical section of onekey of my instrument.

Figure 2 is a topwiew of the same.

The nature of my invention consists in connecting a key-hoard, like those used for organs or pianos, with a comb of steel teeth similar to those used for producing the musical sounds of a music-box.
