To all whom it may concern.'

Be it known that -LJAMES N. 'Mot-,Zusam acitizen of the United States, residing at Canton, in the county of Stark and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in FacingBrick; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, ref-` erence being had to the accompanying drawing, making a part of this specification, and to the numerals ofreference marked thereon, in which- Figure l is a view showing a number of tile placed in proper relative position. In .the accompanying drawing, A1 represents the ordinary sheetlng thatv is secured to"y the building in the usual manner and to which sheetlng the facing ,brick is connected as hereinafter described. The facing brick 2 is formed of any convenient size and of clay roperly burned to produce a tile suitable, or the purpose desi ed. The facing Y brick 2 is provided with t ye lapping flanges 3 and 4, which iianges -are located substantially as shown in Fig.2 and as shownthey are so located that two or more tile vcan be brought into the same 'vertical or horizontal plane.
