IMPROVEMENT IN MACHINE FOR TURNING THE EDG-ES OF SHEET-METAL.

The-Schedule referred to in these Letters `Patent and making part of the same.

Be it known that I, JAMES GLOBER, of Omaha City, Douglas county, Nebraska, have invented a new and useful Machine for Turning the Edge'of SheetMetaI; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same,

reference being had to tbe annexed drawings, making a part of this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a plane view on the top;

This machine is used for the purpose of turning up the edges of sheet-metal, as shown iu fig. 3, and used more particularly in the construction of tin-roofing.

The rollers 1 and 4 are furnished with movable boxes, m, and a thumb-screw, n, so the rollers may be set nearer together or wider apart, as desired, to en ablel the cross-seams, in the case of tin-rooting, tohpass through.

The machine is intended more particularly to turn up the edges of tin sheets after they have been joined together in. a long strip for roofing, so that two long Astrips lying together' may he seamed for soldering, and

may be used either on a roof or in the shop.`

Having thus described my invention, v What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is as follows:
