Specification of Letters Patent.

Figure 1 is a plan, and Fig. 2 a sectional elevation, of the same, with the glass thereon, while Fig. 3 shows on a larger scale the device for adjusting the outer bristle arrangement in longitudinal direction.
' The hand brush comprises the handle a which carries a triangular rod 6 on which a toothed rack 0 is mounted. The rod b carries the brush back is with the inner bristles. On the rod b a sleeve d is movably arranged which carries side-pieces g. The latter are provided with slots h in which the brush backs i of the outer bristles are secured by meansof nuts 2' in such a way that they can be adjusted in a lateral direction. The sleeve d is provided with a pawl e passing through a hole therein, a coiled spring f maintalning the pawl against the rack c and thereby fixing the sleeve d in any desired position on the rack so as to adjust the outer bristles in longitudinal direction.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is A hand brush for cleaning glasses, comprising in combination, a handle, a triangular rod fixed on said handle, the back with the inner bristles fixed on said rod, a toothed rack mounted on said rod, a sleeve lnovably arranged on said rod, side-pieces fixed on said sleeve and provided with slots,
the backs with the outer bristles adjustably arranged in said slots, nuts to fix said backs in said slots, and a spring pawl in said sleeve adapted to fix the latter in any position on said rack, for the purpose set forth.
