"Be it known that l, Ronnu'r A, Glunvn, a citizen of the United States, residing at Kearney, in the county of Bnflalo and State of Nebraska, have invented certain new and detail view illustrating the strop handle holder.
In the embodnnent of my invention, as
shown, 1 provide a cabinet comprising spaced side walls 1 and 2, having their upper edges forwardly downwardly stepped, and connected by means of a top plate or wall 3, conforming to the said upper edges whereby to form shelves 4, 5 and (5 for the reception of tonics, waters, cosmetics, and a comb and brushes, the shelf 5, having a series of circular bpenings 7, for the reception of cosmetic jars to be set down therein.
The top plate or wall 3, at its lower forward edge, isprovided wit-h a downturned ledge 33, extending dowmvardly between the vforward edges of the side walls 1 and 2.
The lower straight horizontal edges of the side walls 1 and 2 are conne eted by a lower wall or base )late 3. having an upturned ledge 8 at its frontedge. The rear edges of the top and bottom walls 3 and 8, and side walls 1 and 2, are suitably secured to a rear wall 9, extending sidewise beyond said side walls. whereby to support, between its extending portions and said walls, superposed bracket dates 10 and 11, the lower-plates 10 of whic are flat for the recept-ioii of hair clippers and such articles, while the upper dates are formed in vertically offset porlions constituting shelves 12 and 13 supplemental to, and having the same functions as. shelves 4, 5 and 6.

In its closed position, the drawer 16 stretches spring 24 and is secured by a horizontal latch bar 26, intermediatcly pivoted upon a stationary bracket 27, and provided rearwardly of its'pivot with a downwardly projecting latch piece 28 to engage the above mentioned wall 22, as clearlv shown in Fig.

In a barbers cabinet, thecombination of sidewalls having stepped upper edges, and atop wall extending between the said upper edges and conforming to the stepped relation thereof, to form shelves, and provvided in one of said shelves, with openings for the reception of cosmetic jars, said top' wall having a portion extending below said last named shelf to form a rest for the said jars, substantially as described.
2. In a barbers cabinet, the combination I of spaced side walls, a top wall connecting the upper edges of said side walls and provided with a forward down-turned ledge, having slotted openings therein, a drawer slidably mounted between said side walls, a shaft extending between said side walls, spring controlled reels mounted on said shaft, and strops wound upon said reels and extending through said ledge openings above said drawer and provided with exterior handles, substantially as described.
3. In-a barbers cabinet, the combination of spaced side walls, a top wall, connecting the upper edges of said side walls and provided with a forward down-turned ledge, having slotted openings therein, a drawer slidably mounted between said side walls,
a shaft extending between said side walls, spring controlled reels mounted on said shaft, and spring clips carried by said side walls to hold said handles out of the path of movement of saiddrawer, substantially .as described.
4. A barbers cabinet comprising spaced side walls having their 11 per edges stepped for wardly and downward a top connecting said upper edges of said side walls, and conforming thereto to provide shelves, a bottom Wall connecting the lower edges of said side walls, a rear wall connectingsaid top and bottom walls, and said side walls, and extending sidewise beyond the latter, superposed braekets forming shelves, secured between said side walls and said rear walls, a bracket secured to one of said side walls, forming a housing for scissors; and super posed drawers slidable' between said side walls, one of said drawers embodying a coin tray, and a shaving paper magazine below said tray, and having a discharge mouth for e the paper from said magazine, substantially as described.
