In the embodiment' of my invention herein selected for illustration, the clip spring blank l. (Fig. 2). is formed from :L short length of Wire 2, which is first headed et one end, es et 3, in anysuitable end well known manner. The body ofthe Wire is then swnged Het, es shown, to impart the necessary resiliency. In the swinging operation two integre-l securing'lugs 4 are preierzibly formed by which the spring body may besecured to e. suitable body, in this instance shown es n clip 5, Figs. 5 :ind 6.
