,l IMPROvI-ID STOVE-IP-E SHELF AND SAD-IRON HOLDER The VSchedule referred to :in these Letters Patent `and making part of the same.
lac, and State of Wisconsin, have invented a new and useful Improvement in a. Combined Stove-Pipe Shelf and Sad-Iron Stand; and we do declare that the fol lowing is avtrue and accurate description thereof', ref- .erence being had to the accompanying drawings, and
to the letters of reference marked thereon, and being apart of this specification.
^ 'lhe nature ot this invention relates to an improved construction of a shelf, to be attached toa stove-pipe,
and so arranged that it 'may be secured in any desired position, and when not required for that purpose, it n may be placed upon a table, and used to place sadirons upon.
The invention consists in a peculiar arrangement for securing the shelf tothe pipe, and in providing the shelf with handles and legs, as more fully hereinafter' described.
In the drawings- A represents the shelf made of suitable metal, and
in any form, and with any ornamentation desired.
B is 'a circular clamp, made in two sections, hinged together at b, and provided with earsT through which passes the thumb-screw O, by means of which the cla-inpis adjusted and secured tothe stove-pipe in any ldesired and convenient position equnlistant from each other, and around theperiphery of the clamp it is provided with perforated lugs D.

1 such distances apart that they will fit into any two of the perforatious a, iu the lugs D, thereby sustaining theshelf at any desired position, in front or rear, or on either side ofthe pipe.

so that it may be removed from the clamp, and placed upon a table, to be employed as a sad-iron holder, land other like purposes. 4 Y
