Be. it known that I, FRANK E. SEELEY, a citizen of the United States of America, and residing at Bridge ort, in the county of Fairfield and State of onnecticut, have invented a certain newand useful Improvement in In- .my invention in one form,

In the sockets ingenerai use in which a metal key is used it is customary to insulate the latter from the spindle carrying the contact piece by mounting a bus ling with an insulating lining on the end of the spindle the key to the bushing. The particular construction which I have disclosed may be readily varied without departing from the scope of my invention as indicated in the following claims and I do not limit myself to the details shown.
I claim as my invention:
1. An electrical device of the character described, having a rotary spindle and a contact piece carried thereby, com rising an ex ternal conducting band, a shel within the same and an inter osed insulating envelop.
2. An electrical device of the character described, having a rotary spindle and a contact piece carried thereby, com rising an externa conducting band, a shel within the same and an interposed insulating envelop completely covering the outer surface of the latter.
3. An electrical device of the character described having a rotary spindle and a c'ontact iiece carried thereby, com rising an externa conducting band, a shel within the same and an inter osed insulating envelop,
