Letters Patent No. 91,227, lated .Tune 15, 1869.
IINIPROVED HOUSEEOLD-IMPLEMNT.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and rnakng part of the same.
To all whom it 'ma/y concern.-
` Beit known that I, AARON GUINZBURG, of Boston, in the county of Suffolk, and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, have invented a new and improved Household-Implement; and I do `hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.
My invention consists of a metallic implement for household-use, and adapted by its form, as shown in the drawings, to various purposes.
The accompanying drawing represents the implement in an inverted position. v
The wedge-shaped points B B B B, of varying Widths, are designed to lift stove-covers of varying sizes.
The slots in two of said points c c are to adapt those points to the purpose of drawing tacks.
The square holes A A A A, of varying sizes, are intended to adapt the implement, as a Wrench, to varions-sized stove-grate bars, for the purpose of shaking and turning such grates, and are very convenient and useful as wrenches for other purposes, such as about gas-meters, water-pipes, &c.
The implement,-when placed in a posit-ion the reverse of that shown in the drawings, and resting upon the points B B B B, is a very safe and convenient support for hot flat-irons, coffee-pots, and other householdutensils.
It is cheap, compact, and combines the advantages above described in one instrument, whereas they are usually attained only by means of several implements, and is, therefore, more readily at hand.
What I claim as my invcntionfand desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The metallic implement as herein described, with its wedge-formed points B B B B, slots C 0,' and holes A A A A, as shown, for the purpose described.
