To enable others skilled in the art to which my invention appertains, to make and use the same, I will now describe its construction and .operation.
In the accompanying drawings A represents the heater, made of iron, or any suitable material, and opened at the bottom, with a centre-piece, B, on top, saidpiece being provided with notches a a a a upon its edges to receive the handles of the irons.
b I) represent slides, formedwith a notch 11, working over the notches a a, as seen in fig. '2.
O 0 represent doors sliding in grooves formed'in the upper edges of heater A- dis the handle of the heater, and e e, the handles of the sliding doors 0 ,0.
D represents the sad-iron in position for heating.
The operation of my heater is as follows:
The irons are first placed and secured in the heater by placing one end of the handle in notch a, and the other :iend in the long notch a and the slide 1) slid against the said end. The doors ()0 are then closed,
and the heater placed upon the stove, or any suitable place for heating the irons.
It will be seen that by this arrangement of notches and slides, the heater can be used for any-sized sadiron.
Having thus described my invention,
What I claimas new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, i s 1 1. The notched slides 12 b, in combination with th top B, provided at its edges with notches a a a a,
substantially in the manner and for the purpose set forth.
2. In combination with the above, the sliding doors Witnesses:
