To all whom 'it may concern.'

Be it known that I, HUGO R. HENDRICK- soN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Soudan, in the county of St. Louis and State of Minnesota, have invented a new and useful Pliers, of which the following is a specication.

My invention relates to combination tools, and the object is to provide a handy, useful tool comprising in compact form in a single device pincel-s, nippers, wire cutter, nail puller, hammer, nut cracker, pipe wrench, Ilut wrenches and a screw driver.

In the vaccompanying drawing Figure 1 is a side view of my combination tool, and a nail extracted by it. Fi 2 is an edge view of Fig. 1 with two nails etween the jaws of the pincers. Fig. 3 is a front end view ofthe device with a piece of wire between the wire cutting j aws.

Referring to the drawing by reference numerals, 1 and 2 are a pair of pincer jaws pivoted at 3 and formed with levers 4 and 5 which are provided with adjacent serrated faces 6 serving as a nut cracker. The jaw 2 is formed with a hammer face 7, so that the device may be used as a hammer. Said jaw also has a V-shaped claw 8 in which to' hold nails as indicated at 9 for extracting them. If the nail has no head it may be grasped as 9X between the regular edges of the jaws. The claw 8 also serves as a clearing for Wire placed as 10 in Fig. 3 to be out by the'special Wire-cutting jaws 11 provided closer to the pivot 3. rl'he lever 4 has its rear end formed into a socket wrench 12, an open wrench 13 and a screw driver 14. The other lever, 5, has its rear end formed with a wrench of the so-called alligator type, having a V-shaped gap 15 with teeth 16 in one side thereof for taking hold of a pipe placed as 17 therein. It may also take hold of bolt heads and nuts for turning them.

Having thus described my invention and indicated its use, what I claim is:

A tool comprising a pair of levers crossed and pivoted at the crossing, the front ends of the levers being formed into pincer jaws, one of which has a nail pulling claw in it, and rearwardly of such claw and parallel to the jaw having the claw a wire-cutting jaw, and means on the other jaw for coacting with said Wire-cutting jaw.
