Be it known that I, G'nonen M. PULLMAN, of Ohicago, in the county of Cook, and State of Illinois, have invented a certain new and useful Improved Dining- Car for Railways; and! do hereby declare that the followingis a full, clear and exact descriptioncf the construction and operation of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawings, making part of this specification, in which-- V a Figure 1 represents a perspective view of the intei'ior of one side of my improved dining-car.
Figure 2 is a cross-section of the same taken through the kitchen.
My improved dining-car is intended to be used as a travelling dining-saloon and restaurant, and contains several features which are believed to adapt it more perfectly to the comfort and convenience of passengers.
These features may be thus described:
