IMPROVEMENT IN CHURN-DLASHER.
, W The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM 9. Owen, of Council Bluffs, in the county of Pottawattomie, and State of Iowa, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Ghurn-Dashers; and I do hereby declare that the following is. a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification, and in which is represented a perspective view of my churn-dasher. My invention relates to improvements in churndashers; and to this end,
It consists in the construction of a cone-shaped dasher, formed with holes around its lower edge.
It further consists in providing the said dasher, near where the handle is attached, with two or more holes, the object of which will be hereinafter fully described.
To enable others skilled in the art to which my invention appertains, to make and use the same, I will now describe its construction and operation.
In the accompanying drawing A represents a cone-shaped dasher, formed with a neck, B, and secured to the stafl' B.
0-0 are holes made around the lower edge of the dasher.
(I dare perforations made in the neck of the dasher.
My dasher is thus operated:
The milk being placed in the churn, the dasher is inserted, and the milk passes up through the neck, through the perforations d d, down through theho'les O 0, up through the neck, through the perforations d d, and so on until the butter has been made. Having thus fully described my invention,
