To all whom t may concern.-
Bc it known that we, MARTIN HELIKER and ORSA- MUs A. WEHTE, of Norwalk, in the county of Huron, and State OfOhiO, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Churn-Dashers; and We do hereby declare that the following is a full and complete description of` the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making apart of this speci- .cation, in which- Figure l is a top view of the dasher. Figure 2, a view of the under side. Figure 3, a side View.

This invention relates to a chum-dasher, constructed with concentric circles of wire attached to radial arms in the manner as follows:

To the upper and under sides of these arms are secured the concentric circles of wire C, iig. l, which' may be more or less in number as may be desired, or the wire may consist of one entire piece, one end of the same being secured to an arm, and then arranged in a coil, as shown in g. 2.
A dasher thus constructed has an advantage over Others in being simple in construction, strong and durable, easily cleaned, and inexpensive.
It also breaks up the cream rapidly, and agitates the mass ina most thorough manner, so that the laborof churning is, inconsequcnce, very much lesscned by a 'reduction of thetime required to bring the butter. y
