This invention relates to desks and attachments therefor, especially to the roll-top oflice desks, by which a s ecisl table is provided of suitable height ihr use when a erson is standing, such table being adapte for bookkeeping and other purposes, and adapt ed to be readily brought into and out of operative )osition. When it is desired to close the desk the supplemental table being in-its inoperative position, it is merely necessary to withdraw the flexible cover 7 from its housing 8 in the desk, permitting its ends to pass into the registering guii'l'wvays ilk-18 and 9, (Fig. 2), when the desk is closed and locked in tho ordinary manner, (see Fig. 1).

Having thus described this invention in connection with the illustrative embodiments thereof, to the details of which I do not desire to 'be limited, what is claimed as new-and what is desired to be secured by Letters Patent is set forth in the appended claims. a
