The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, DANIEL F. BRANDON, of the city of Chicago, in the county of Cook, and State of Illinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Suspended Gas Cigar-Lighter'; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specication, and to the letters` of, .reference marked thereon, like letters indicating like parts wherever they occur. Y
To enable others skilled in the art to construct and use my invention, I will proceed to describe it.
My invention consists in attaching a mirror to the suspended gas cigar-lighter generally used for lighting cigars, in such a manner as to reflect the but of the cigar applied to the jet of gas of the lighter, and thereby to show to. the person lighting said cigar, whether it is thoroughly lighted or not.
A is an ordinary suspended gas cigar-lighter.

The application of a mirror to the suspended gas cigar-lighter, and its attachment to the same, by means substantially as herein described, or by any other suitable means, for the purpose speciiied.
