This invention relates to cams more especially designed for employment in connec-l 'tion with' the turret-slides of metal-working mac es, although not limited tov any speciiic use, nor to-any particular-art. One of the principalobjects of the invention is the provision in connection with a carrier having .parallel slots, of a cam having a series of openings which due to their arrangement afford means whereby a maximum number of adjustments upon vthecircumference of said carrier may bereadily accomplished. In the devicefshown this result is A accomplished by providing the cam with a series of sets of perforations, each-set composed of two holes, altho h any suitable number of holes may be emp oyed.
A further object of the invention is the provision of a cam manufacturedin a` eculiar manner-'from a tube or hollow cygnder, as will be hereinafter explained. jg Other objects of the invention will be 'set i forth in the following description.
