Be it known that I, GUSTAV KAUFMANN, a subject of the German Emperor, residing at 19 Reichstrasse, St. JohannontheSaar, in the Empire of Germany, have invented a cer tain new and useful Illustrated Guide, of which-the following is a specification.
The object of this invention is an illustrated guide in the form of a case whose outer faces are used for picture post cards, while in the interior a small booklet which can be drawn out is contained, which booklet contains a guide for the district which is illustrated in the pictures of the post cards, so that thus a practical, useful guide for excursions is provided in a very handy form as well as a souvenir which has its interest and worth increased by the description given with the pictures.
The accompanying drawing illustrates the invention, Figure 1 being a perspective front view, Fig. 2 a section, and Fig. 3 a perspective front view in which the guide is drawn out.
In the drawing, 1 is the front side of the post card case, 2 is the booklet or guide, and 3 is a sheet fixing the latter in the case.
What I claim as my invention and desire to secure by Letters Patent is An illustrated guide comprising in combination a booklet, a case within which said booklet is contained and a folded sheet attached t0 the inside of said case and to said booklet for securing said booklet within said case.
