Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is

1. A tool of the character described, comprising handles pivotally connected at one end, one of said handles being formed at its opposite end with an extension projecting inwardly between the handles and having a bore extending therethrough, a reversible implement provided with a stem adapted to be fitted into the bore from either end thereof, and means upon said extension for engaging the stem and securing the implement in either of its adjusted positions, substantially as described.

In a horseshoers tool, a handle provided at one end with a tool-supporting extension projecting rearwardly therefrom parallel with the handle and having a bore extending therethrough, a reversible implement provided with a stem adapted to be fitted into the bore from either end thereof, and means upon said extension for engaging the stem and securing the implement in either of its adjusted positions, substantially as described.
