This invention relates to a`new and useful -frmproveifnent indram-ilasks, and bias for its objectthe substitution of some cheaper material than leather, but equally asdurable, to the exterioif of the glass bottle.

lDram-iiasks,.commonly so terned, as theywere :originally designed for .sportsmenf to carry a. supply loli" liquor in their pockets, are now largely used for various purposes, and almost all druggists have them for sale-.v

My invention consistsv h1' applying@ covor. o papier-mache, or, ether equthlent material. or textile or felted, fabric, and covering the saine with japanfor other water-proof varnish, WherebyaI very nemend-,durable drain-flask is obtained, and one which muy be manufacturedv much cheaper than the leather-,covered ones, and have equally as neat and nished an appearance. i' i In the accompanying sheet of drawings- Figure 1 is a. side view of av dram-iiask constructed accord-ing to niy invention.4

My improvement fully obviates this difficulty, as japan and other copul varnishes, coachsvarnish for instance;

cffectually resist the action of water and alcohol.

My improvement is appiicable to those flasks which are not provided with a cup, and have the glass bottle u entirely covered. u Y
