Be it known that I, WILLIAH R.AC1V1A;ND ALL, of Deansville; in the county of Oneida, and State of New York,
have invented a new and improved' Hop-Box and I do hereby declare that thel following is a full, clean-and exact description thereof, wbichwiil enable others skilled in'the art to ma'ke and use the same, reference being' Figure 1 is a cross-section of my improved box through the line a: :a of -iig.2. Figure 2 is a top view ofthe box. v Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts.
The object of'this invention is to facilitate the sucking of hops from the lion-boxv commonly employed in hop-yards during the pickingseason.
TheV boxes, as heretofore made, consisted of a cubical box, about six, feet' long and four feet wide, divided into four equal compartments by partitions, when lese compartments werefilleclwith hops by the pickers.
