To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, HENRY RUNTZ, of Ohicago, in the county of Cook andfStateofIlli- 1101s, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Display-Holders for N eck ties, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact descriptiomrefercnce being had to the accompanying drawings, formingla part of reference in the different figures indicate like parts.

The object of my invention is toprovidea necktie display-holder adapted for the display of that style of tie which is intended to be detachably secured to the collar-button by means a bent-wire fastener.

To this end my invention consists in the combination of elements hereinafter more particularly described and claimed.

In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a portion of a box, showing my improved holders attached thereto, a tie being mounted-upon one to illustrate the manner in which it'is' supported. Fig. 1" is a rear view of a necktie, showing th 3 fastener there on to which my improvement is applicable. Fig. 2 is a perspective view of my improved holder. Fig. 3 is a rear view thereof, showing it fastened to the bottom of a box. Fig. 4 is a side view thereof. Fig. 5 is a central vertical sectional view of a modified construction. Fig.6 is a front view, Fig. 7 a front perspective View, and Fig. 8 a rear perspec tive View, showing modifications of said invention.

Referring to the drawings, a represents a box or display-card of pasteboard to which my improved holders b are attached, as hereinafter described, said holders being preferably arranged in rows at such distances from each other as to properly display the ties thereon. 4

As an improved article of manufacture, a necktie display-holder formed from sheet metal, said holder having a base, an upwardly-extended body bent at an oblique angle thereto, said body being provided with a socket at its upper end oblong in cross-section, formed by the lateral bending of the metal from opposite edges thereof upon itself.

3. In a necktie display-holder, the combination with a main support such as a card or box, of a sheet-metal standard having a lat base, means for permanently attaching said base to said support, said standard consisting of a flat body portion bent upwardly from one end of and inclined at an oblique angle to said base, provided with wings or flanges bent from opposite edges toward each other and braces interposed between said inclined body and base, said braces being formed from said inturned wings, substantially as and for the purposes specified.
