Be it known that I, ALFRED STORM, of the city'and county of Rutland, and State of Vermont, have invented a. new andimproved adjustable Bed-Clothes Clasp; and I do'hereby declare the following to bea. full and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which are made part of thisspecification, and in whichl Figure I is a side elevation.

The clasp is adjustable lengthwise ot' thebed-rail, and has two movable jaws, operated by a single thumbscrew. One of the jaws clamps against the sideof the ail andattaches the clasp thereto, and the other jaw clamps the clothes to hold them in position. In the drawings- A is the bed-rail, and B the frame of the clasp on which thejaws C and D are pivoted. The jaw Chas two pivoted holes c c, so Athat it may be adjusted to a larger or smaller bed-raih and the jaw `D eneloses the bedclothes E, so as to keep them fastened at the required point. Having described my invention,'what I claim as new., and desire to secure by Letters Patent, s-'` I. The clasp constrcted with a frame, B, and jaws CD, operated substantially as described.
