Letters Patent No. 65,433, me June 4,1867.
.IMPROVD HARNESS-PAD BLOCK.
TO ALL WHOMIT MAY CONCER:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM H. RANNELS, of Oakland Mills, in the county of Juninta, and State of Pennsylvania, have invented an Improved Block for Forming Harness-Pads; and I do hereby declare the following is a. full and exact description thereof', reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification- Figurel being a top view of the block.

Like letters designate corresponding parts in both figures.
The block A has a base, a, of suieiont width to contain the other parts; the form d being over the middle, and the crimping holders or ledgesff at the sides of the form. A nose projection extends forward from the front end. The bow-lever presser B has two legs, it', which are respectively pivoted at their ends /L L to oblique staples gg, the ends 7i k curving outward to correspond with the position of the staple hinges, substantially as s hown in fig. l.
