Be it lmoivn that I, WALIR SIIRIVER, of the city of New York', county ofv New York, and State of New York, have invented a. new and improved Resorvoir Damping-Brush for wetting paper in the opemtion of copy ing letters; and I.do hereby declare thut the following is a full andoxact. description thereof, referenc being hnd t.o the nccompanying drawings, and o the Ie;ters of reference mnrked t hereon, in which- Figure 1 is 'a. verticuilbngifudinal section; and

The nuturc of my invention in to provid the ordinnry brush for dumping pape! with a suitable reservoir or fquntnin within the handle to contain a.-Supply of water, finis doing a,wa'with the inconvenience of a sepm'ate vesselfor containing the water; liability to evaporation, deteriomtion fro n dust, &e.

To ena-ble others skilld in the art to make and use my invention, I will proceed to 1escrib ts construction and oprntin.
