Figure D is a circular incision in the case in which the box of blocking is to be inserted, and is retained in its position by a slide, A, which, by means of a thumb-screw, B, can be made to retain either a large or a small box,
Figure E is an incision in case to admit Hacking-brush.
Figure F is an incision in case to admit polishing-brush.
Figure G is an incision in case in which the foot-rest 0, when not in use and folded up at the joints, is to be placed.
FigureH is the foot at one end of the case.
Figure 2 is a view of the foot-rest, showing the foot-rest C when opened at the joint, and also when closed.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of case when open and in position for use as a bench.
Figure 3 is a view of case when closed, showing the position of fcet'h when closed.

The nature of my invention consists in the arrangement of blacking and polishing implements in'the form of a book or box. 7
1. I claim the arrangement and combination of blackingnnd polishing utensils in the manner described, so that the, case when unfolded forms a stand or bench.
