SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 632,383, dated September 5, 1899.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, AARON M. WEBER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Oshkosh, in the county of Winnebago, State of Wisconsin, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Dress Bindings and Facings, of which the following is a description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings and to the letters of reference marked thereon.
My invention relates to improved dress bindings and facings; and the object is to provide a double binding for garments.
The invention therefore consists in an outer and an inner binding, so that when the outer binding is worn out it can be cut off clean to the edge and there will still remain the inner binding, giving the same finish to the skirt as it had before.
The invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a front view of a portion of a garment provided with my improved double binding, and Fig. 2 is a cross-section of the same.
