A map-holder for bicycles and other vehicles, consisting -'of a casing adapted to be connected with a handle-bar, said casing being provided with an opening in the top thereof, a luminous plate mounted beneath the opening in the top of the casing, two shafts mounted beneath said plate and at or near the opposite ends thereof, and a map composed of translucent material which is adapted to be wound on said shafts, and drawn over said plate, substantially asshown and described.

A map-holder, comprising an oblong casing open at one end and provided in the top thereof with an oblong opening, and a detachable frame which is adapted to be inserted into the open end of said casing and which is provided at one end with a cap which is adapted to close the open end of said casing, said frame being provided with two longitudinal parallel shafts which project through said cap, and with a plate which is situated above said shafts, said shafts being adapted to receive a map which in the operation of the device is drawn over said plate, said shafts and said plate being removable from said casing with the said frame, substantially as shown and described.
