SUSPENDER-BUCKLE.

Beit known that I, JAMES E. SOLT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Bellefonte, in the county of Centre and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and useful Suspender-Buckle, of which the following is a specification.

This invention aims to devise aconstruction of suspender-buckle which will require a minimum amount of material in its manufacture consistent with strength and durability, and which will be light, admit of the suspenders being quickly adjusted, and secure the same positively in an adjusted position.

Other objects and advantages are contemplated, and to a full understanding of the same and the details of the invention reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings and the following description.

The improvement is susceptible of various changes in the form, proportion, and the minor details of construction wit-hout departing from the principle or sacrificing any of the advantages thereof, and to a full disclosure of the invention an adaptation thereof is shown in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure lis a front elevation of a suspenderbuckle, showing the slide in the position which it will occupy when the strap is held fast. Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new isl. In a buckle, a frame open at its upper end, a toothed bar or plate connecting the upper ends of the side members of the frame and having its teeth deflected forwardly, and
