I *Y f' T all whom it `Waag; concern/ i Be tknown that I, MORRIS FEINTUCH, a citizen of the United States, residing in thecity and county of San Francisco, State of California, have invented an Improvement inl Advice and Safety Attachments for Bank-Checks; and I hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same.

Various devices have been employed to prejvent the alteration of.,checksy and similar papers after having once been issued--such as perforating numbers Which'in'dicate `the 3s Vthe same time with the check .at the left end i i amount-the check is drawnfo'r, the use of chemically-prepared paper upon which the check is printed, adx-but' experience has shown that skilful forgers have succeeded in altering such checks in spite of the most careful -precautions.A

In my invention I print the check .with a supplemental attachment which is designed to be lled out simultaneously with the check is drawn, so a to give them advice oriinoti- -ication of the amount, date, and number of all checks which have been drawn upon them on each'day, and thus prevent fraudor error, A is -the bodyof the eheck B is the stub, which is'ordinarilyprinted at thereof, so that the checks maybebound into book form'.

In my invention I extend the paper upon which the check isprintedto the'right and imprint upon itsface the name-of the bank upon' which the check is drawn,-'with suit-4 able spaces for number, date,- and amount of the check, also the name of the drawer. Aline of perforations is made between the end of the check and `this extension, so'that?
