Be it known that 1, CHARLES E. Prnnc'n'of Cambridge, in the county of Middlesex and, State of Massachusetts, have invented certain 5 new and useful Improvements in Can-Closing 1 Devices, of which the following is aspcifica tion.

In order to form a sufficiently strong and rcc tight solder-joint between the cover and the seat, a considerable degree of pressure is required, since the quantity of solder used is necessarily limited.
