BROOM OR BRUSH.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 51.423, dated December 12, 1865.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, MARCUS L. BYRN, of the city and State of New York, have invented, made, and applied to use a certain Improvement in Brooms or Brushes; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference beiu g had to the annexed drawing, making part of this specification, wherein I have shown a side View ofabroom with a portion ofthe metal case containing the material in section.
Brooms and brushes have been made ofa vasocket upon the same for an ordinary wood handle.
