PENCIL OR STYLE FOR WRITING ON SLATES.
SPECIFICATION formingpart of Letters Patent No. 511 ,468, dated December 26, 1893. I
Application filed June 17, 1892. Serial No. 437,049. (No model.)
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, DRUSOHA VON SILLICH, a subject of the Emperor of Germany, residing at Amalienruhe, near Meiningen, in the Empire of Germany, have invented a new and useful Pencil or Style for Writing on Slate or other Surfaces, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a pencil or style suitable for writing on slate like an ordinary slate pencil, but applicable also for writing on other surfaces such as marble, metal, porcelain, frosted glass or suitably prepared paper.
A main object of the invention is to provide a pencil or style which is not of a fragile character like slate pencil, but which is strong and durable. For this purpose the style consists of a rod of aluminium, which may be round or square or polygonal in section, and
Having thus described the nature of this invention and the best means I know of carrying the same into practical eifect, I claim A pencil or style for Writing on slate or other surfaces, consisting of a rod of aluminium I tapered to a blunt point.
