IMPROVED BOTTLE-STOFPER.`
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 49,144, dated August 1, 1865.
To all whom 'it may concern Be it. known that I, ROBERT T. OsGooD, ot' Orland, in the county of Hancock and State of Maine, have invented a new and useful Improvement in stopples for stopping bottles and other vessels conveniently; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description.
The nature of my invention consists in providing a common cork with a metallic head or covering, and secured trrnly there by a pointed spiral wire passing into said cork.
To enable others skilled in the art to make and use my invention, lwill proceed to describe its construction and use.
