The herein-described composition of matter for the removal of paint, grease, &c., from the surface of wood or metal, consisting of the fol lou'i ng ingredients: pure water, one quart; concentrated caustic alkali, two and one-half pounds; sol-soda, three pounds; oleine-soap, (oleate of soda) three and one-halt pounds; wheatflour, one-eighth of one pound, in the proportions herein specified, as and for the purpose described.
