  • the arcuate pipe portions forming the looped portions in the tread can be straightened out slightly, and/or the arcuate pipe portions forming the looped portions in the risers may be more tightly bent, and/or a larger portion of each turn of the helically wound pipe may be used to form the looped portions in the treads and a smaller portion of each turn may be used to form the looped portions in the riser.
