  • the bag may be arranged such that also in the non-supporting condition it will come into contact with its bottom part with the sea-bed or the like, so that the short leg will always be enclosed in a sealing relation by the bag and will thus be protected against the scouring action of the water.
  • the expansible member is preferably connected with the bottom side of an annular structure. It is advantageous to have the mechanism for moving the short leg with respect to the platform incorporated in said annular structure.
