GEGRGE MASTERS ATTORNEY 1 FACIAL DEVICE AND METHOD USING THE SAME BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is therefore an object of the invention of the present invention to provide a facial device which imparts a minimum risk of exposure independent of the activities of the wearer.
A further object of the present invention is to provide such a facial device which allows the use of multiple devices without significantly increasing the risk of exposure.
A further object of the present invention is to provide a facial device which will allow independent selection of hairstyles.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a facial device which is readily removable.
A further object of the present invention is to provide such a facial device which is simply constructed and easily installed.
A further object of the present invention is to provide such a facial device which may be manufactured economically.
- These together with other objects and advantages, which will become subsequently apparent, reside in the details and construction and operation as more fully hereinafter described and claimed reference being had to the accompanying drawings forming a part hereof, wherein like numerals refer to like parts throughout, and in which;
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS In the drawings:
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a subject with a device constructed in accordance with and embodying the present invention partially installed.
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a device constructed in accordance with and embodying-the present invention.
FIG. 3 is a partial perspective view of another device constructed in accordance with and embodying the present inven' tron.
' I DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Referring now in more detail and by reference characters to the drawings which illustrate practical embodiments of the present invention, FIG. I, designates in perspective the facial device, I, installed upon a subject.
As shown in FIG. 1, and FIG. 2, facial device, 1, comprises skin securing means, 2, strap means, 3, and coupling means, 4. Skin securing means, 2, may be any suitable adhesive tape or like device, however, in the preferred embodiment, skin securing means, 2, is a mesh fabric, such as suffele. The face, 5, of subject, 6, is first cleaned and then securing means, 2, is secured to the face, 5, using a suitable adhesive, 7, such as collodion flexible which contains 21 25 percent, by volume, of alcohol (QH OH). Using suffele, which is a very thin mesh material, and an appropriate adhesive, 7, allows application of make-up in normal quantities and still enables concealment of securing means, 2. Also, securing means, 2, is readily dyable to match the color of the subjects hair.
Strap means, 3, consists of a plurality of strands, 8, of Dynal," an artificial hair, commonly used in wigs, wiglets, and the like. Approximately strands, 8, of Dynal is normally sufficient to hold the skin of a subject's face in a spread condition. Securing means, 2, is attached to strap means, 3, by a suitable adhesive.
Coupling means, 4, consists of commercially available double stick" tape secured to strap means, 3, by a suitable adhesive.
Another embodiment of the facial device is shown in FIG. 3, wherein facial device, 9, is shown with minor'modifications in securing strap means, 3, to securing means, 2, and coupling means, 4.
It should be understood that changes and modifications in the form, construction, arrangement and combination of the 25 elements of the range extending device and methods of making and using the same may be made and substituted for those herein shown and described without departing from the nature and principle of my invention.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim and desire to secure by United States Letters Patent is:
l. A face lifting device comprising,
skin attachment means, said skin attachment means comprising a layer of flexible, sheer mesh material such that when said attachment means is covered by ordinary amounts of facial cosmetics it is not apparent to an ordinary person s vision,
strap means operably connected to said skin attachment means, said strap means comprising a plurality of strands of artificial hair, and
coupling means operably coupled to said strap means, said coupling means comprising double stick tape.
2. The method of face lifting or facial skin smoothing comprising,
applying securing means to opposite temple areas of a subject,
applying tension to said securing means rearward of said subjects head,
applying securing means to opposite upper ear areas of a subject,
applying tension to said securing means upwardly from said securing means, and
applying securing means to opposite lower ear areas of a subject, and
applying tension to said securing means rearwardly of said subject s head.

Claims (2)

1. A face lifting device comprising, skin attachment means, said skin attachment means comprising a layer of flexible, sheer mesh material such that when said attachment means is covered by ordinary amounts of facial cosmetics it is not apparent to an ordinary person''s vision, strap means operably connected to said skin attachment means, said strap means comprising a plurality of strands of artificial hair, and coupling means operably coupled to said strap means, said coupling means comprising double stick tape.
2. The method of face lifting or facial skin smoothing comprising, applying securing means to opposite temple areas of a subject, applying tension to said securing means rearward of said subject''s head, applying securing means to opposite upper ear areas of a subject, applying tension to said securing means upwardly from said securing means, and applying securing means to opposite lower ear areas of a subject, and applying tension to said securing means rearwardly of said subject''s head.
