IMPROVED SAP-BUCKET FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF MAPLE-SUGAR.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 35,56], dated June 10,1862.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN H. FAIRCHILD, of Highgate, in the county of Franklin and State of Vermont, have invented a newand useful Artiele'for the Purpose of Catching Sap, or, in other words, a Sap-Bucket; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear,
and exact description of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawings, makin g a part of my specification, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective, and Fig. 2 is a top View. t

To enable others skilled in the art to fully understand and construct my invention, I will 7 proceed to describe it.

I do not claim the composition of matter used in forming the cement, as it has been used before; neither do I claim the construction of the box, as it is an article of common use; neither do I wish to confine myself to the specified size, leaving it to be varied; but
What I do claim is-- The-combination of the cement and box for the specific purpose of catching sap, or a sapbucket, to be used in the-manufacture of maple-sugar.
