Claims (1)

  1. 9. APPARATUS FOR EVAPORATING LIQUID FROM A SOLUTION COMPRISING: A CHAMBER FOR RECEIVING THE SOLUTION FROM WHICH THE LIQUID IS TO BE EVAPORATED, AND AN ENTRAINMENT CHANNEL FOR REMOVING THE VAPORIZED LIQUID FROM THE CHAMBER; AN INLET MEANS COMMUNICATING WITH ONE END OF THE ENTRAINMENT CHANNEL FOR ADMITTING A MOTIVE LIQUID TO SAID CHANNEL; AN OUTLET MEANS LEADING FROM AN OPPOSITE END OF SAID ENTRAINMENT CHANNEL, SAID OUTLET MEANS BEING IN SUBSTANTIAL AXIAL ALIGNMENT WITH SAID INLET MEANS; A WALL COMMON TO THE BOTTOM OF SAID CHAMBER AND THE TOP OF SAID ENTRAINMENT CHANNEL;
