VENTILATING- HAT AND CAP.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that l, JOHN O. BLYTHE, of Gern'iantown, in the city of Philadelphia and county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and usetnl and improved Ventilating Cap or Hat; and I do hereby decla-re that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the construction and operation ofthe same, reference being had to the annexed drawings, making a part of this specification, in which- Figure 1 .is a perspective view ot the side et' the cap; Fig. 2 a perspective view ot the back part of the cap; Fig. 8 side view of a. hat; Figs. el, 5, and (3, perspective views of attachments or hinges for the cap or hat; Fig. 7, screw and nut.

By operating these attachments the cap may be opened at the rear and closed in front or open in front and closed back or open on one side and closed on the other or all open all around.
