Be it known that I, HENRY S. DosH, ofthe city of Baltimore,and State of Maryland,have invented certain Improvements in a Combined Bedbug-Trap and Caster, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to the combination of a bowl to hold water, some liquid insecticide, or insect-powder, adapted for attachment to the lower end of a bed-post,and a caster which is pivoted to the under side of the said bowl and adapted to turn in any direction independently thereof, as will hereinafter fully appear.
In the drawings forming` a part hereof, Figures I and Il are sectional views ofthe invention, and they differ only in certain details of construction, as hereinafter described.
A is a bowl, which in Fig. I is designed to hold water or some liquid insecticide, and in Fig. II dry insect-powder. This bowl has a pin, a, whereby it is secured to the bed-post (No model.)
B, and a Iiange, b, to keep it steadily in position. The iange b may have screws to hold it to the bed-post in Fig. II, if desired.
C is a caster of ordinary description, attached so as to be revoluble independently of' the bowl A by means of a pin, 0. This pin can be screwed or cast into the lower end of the bowl or formed as apart ofit.
I do not claim, broadly, the combination of a bedbug-trap or an insect-guard and a caster, as such combination is not new; but
What I claim is- A bowl for holding liquid or a dry powder adapted for attaclimentto the lower end of a bed-post combined with a caster which is sccured to the under side of the said bowl and fitted to turn in any direction independently thereof, substantially as specied.
