This invention consists of a rest or support for a printers galley, constructed and arranged for use, all substantially as hereinafter fully described, reference being had to the accompanying plate of drawings, in which Figure 1 is a face view and elevation of a printers case and galley, showing my im proved support or rest for the galley as attached to the case. Fig. 2 is a section on line 2 2, Fig. 1; Figs. 3 and at, perspective views of the galley support or rest detached; and Fig. 5, a detail sectional view similar to Fig.
2, enlarged, with the support shown in Fig. 4.'
In the drawings, A represents a printers case, and B a printors galley, each and both of any of the usual constructions.
0 represents my improved support or rest for the galley B. This support 0 is made of metal or other'suitable material, and is provided with a slot, D, suitable to fit over a partitioirwali, E, of the case A, and preferably with a leg, F, to rest upon the bottom of (No model.)
a chamber or compartment, G, of the case, and with a notch, H, making a shoulder for resting the edge of the galley on, as shown in Figs. 2 and 5 more particularly.
This improved support, whcn made of metal, can be cast or struck up or formed of wire, as is obvious.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, 1s
1. A support or rest, 0, for a printers galley, having a notch or slot, 1), and a shouldered notch, H, in front of said slot 1), sub stantially as and for the purpose specified.

8. A'support or rest, 0, for a printers gal ley, having a notch or slot, D, a shouldered notch, H, and a leg, F, substantially as and for the purpose specified.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
