PERFUMERY-STAND.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 297,235, dated April 22, 1884.

To all whom, it may concern Be it known that I, VINZENT DEMUTH, of Brooklyn, county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Perfumery-Stands, of which the following is a specification.
This invention has reference to an improved erfumery-stand, made in the shape of a birdcage; and the invention consists of the perfumery-stand in the shape of a birdcage and made of a detachable wire body, a supporti'ng-base, a perfumery-bottle corresponding in shape to the interior of the body, and means for retaining the body and bottle on the base.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 represents a side elevation of my improved perfumerystand; Fig. 2, a vertical central section on a larger scale; and Fig. 3, a hori zontal section of the same on line no m. Fig. 2.

A in the drawings represents a disk-shaped base, and B a detachable wire body of my improved perfumery-stand, which base and body are made in imitation of a bird-cage. The detachable wire body B is made in any suitable design, and secured to the base A by catches a or other fastening devices. A erfumery-bottle, C, is supported at the interior of the wire body B, and made to correspond in its general outline to the wire body B, the neck of the bottle 0 being extended through an opening the entire device.

The device forms an ornamental stand for a perfuinery-bottle to be placed on the mantelpiece, dressing-case, toilet-case, &c.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- 1. A perfumery-stand formed of a supporting-base, a detachable Wire body, B, a perfumery-bottle supported on the stand inside of the wire body, and means whereby the body is attaohed to the base, substantially as and for-the purpose set forth.
2. The combination of a supporting-base, A, r
a wire body, B, having an opening in the top part, and a perfumery-bottle supported on the base in the wire body, the neck of said bottle being extended through the open top of the wire body and closed by an ornamental stopper or cap, substantially as set forth.
