SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 290,663, dated December 25, 1883.

Be it known that we, JAMES Q. DAVIS, of WTinnsboroug-h, Fairfield county, State of South Carolina, and NEWTON O. PYLEs, of Coronoco, Abbeville county, State of South Carolina, both citizens of the United States, have invented a new and useful Improvement in a Blotter; and we do declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, which will enable other skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the saine.
