EGG-CARRIER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 259,096, dated June 6, 1882.
Application filed March 1, 1882. (No model.)
To all whom it may concer-n: l
Be it known that I,l OLIVER F. CLARK, of the city of St. Louis, in the State of Missouri, have invented a certain new and useful Im- 5 provement in Egg-Carriers, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanyiugdrawings, forming part of this specification.
In the drawings, Figure l is a perspective 1o View. Fig. 2 is ascction with the upper portion of the cells removed. Fig. 3 is a section on line 3 3, Fig. 4. Fig. 4 is a section on line 4 4, Fig. 3.

and are not divided. l1`he cells B are divided horizontally at or near their middle, so that their upper portion can be removed, as shown, and for the purpose stated. The transverse 2o strips ofthe upper half of the cells are held together by their interlocking in the usual way. The'ends of the strips of the lower half of the cells, which also interlock in the usual manner, preferably extend through slots made in the outside strips, a, as shown.
